A contemporary bathroom vanity is essentially as much functional as it is aesthetically pleasing. The term contemporary refers to something, which is fashionable and current. These vanities too follow the current trend of simplistic designs. Machine-made vanities are quite different from the ones that woodworkers produced by hand. Earlier, their beauty came from perfect hand finish and ornamentation done from outside. What you call contemporary will not remain so. If you excuse the pun, change is one constant factor of nature. We change, so does our life, taste and preference. However, as of today, people, especially the younger lot prefers the simplistic design not only in a contemporary bathroom vanity, but also in every other sphere. This penchant for simple design may be the result of the confusion in today’s life! May be this is going to change someday and history will take full round.
